Pleasure Cruisers at RFYC LaBelle

An unexpected lock closing didn't deter this group of pleasure cruisers from having a great day out. With the Ortona Lock closed, they took advantage of River Forest's broadside moorings. RFYC arranged limo transportation to nearby LaBelle and secured dinner reservations for the party at one of the city's upscale restaurants. What could have been a monotonous day of waiting on the water turned into an unforgettable "spur-of-the-moment" outing with many new friends made.
