River Forest Yachting Center’s Hurricane Club was created
to offer boat owners safe harbor during hurricane conditions. By
joining the Hurricane Club, you’ll be entitled to wet or dry
boat storage in RFYC’s hurricane-protected freshwater location
on the St. Lucie Canal. Its inland location and convenient access
to the Atlantic Ocean and Lake Okeechobee make it the ideal solution
for hurricane refuge.
Hurricane Club Members are guaranteed a reserved space for their
boat during hurricanes, and are given preferential haul out treatment
over non-members. In addition, Club Members pay only standard “non-hurricane
storage rates” for their reserved space, a savings of up to
50% off RFYC’s listed “hurricane storage rates.”
Insurance companies often require boat owners in hurricane zones
to have a hurricane plan in case of a named hurricane. RFYC’s
Hurricane Club allows you to meet your insurance plans hurricane
storage provisions. Plan ahead for hurricane season with RFYC’s
