Newly Completed Floating Dock in LaBelle

As part of our continued growth and development for our customers, RFYC LaBelle has completed construction on a new 80' Floating Dock with electric and water service.  Our customers will also be pleased with the convenience of the new ramp.

ABYC Marine Electrical Certification

RFYC is pleased to announce that our LaBelle manager, John Helfrich is now certified by the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) in Marine Electrical.

The ABYC was created in 1954 as a non-profit organization to develop safety standards for the design, construction, equipage, repair and maintenance of boats. The ABYC’s mission statement: “…to be the essential source of technical information for the international marine industry….”

Stuart Expanding Service Department

River Forest Yachting Centers of Stuart, FL and LaBelle, FL are pleased to announce the addition of their new lead technician, James Downs to their Stuart location.  James comes to RFYC with more than a decade of extensive experience in the marine industry.  James has developed an eclectic widespread range of knowledge from small boatyard services to large commercial ships.  Prior to working as a marine mechanic, James served as a commercial diver in the Gulf of Mexico and has acquired a keen understanding of living, working, and playing on seafaring vessels. James is anxiously awaiting the arrival of the 2015 storage/service season at RFYC and looks forward to continuing his commitment to service excellence while getting to know RFYC’s valued customers and their treasured boats.

ActiveCaptain - The Great Loop Videos from Karen and Jeff Siegel on aCapella, DeFever 53

When we started our Great Loop journey last year, we did something that hadn't been done before - capture the entire Great Loop on video. We mounted a GoPro camera on our flybridge and shot high-definition, time-lapse video through every travel day. We've uploaded some segments through the last year but the holidays gave us the time and high bandwidth internet required to upload the huge amount of video. Now they're all available on a new Great Loop Videos with ActiveCaptain channel on YouTube:
