Temperatures are sizzling here in Florida this summer, but even boats stored outside at RFYC can “Chill” with our Cooling Towers in action. This 52’ Spencer is loving the cool air circulating through her salon. 

RFYC Stuart Welcomes Juan Soto

River Forest Yachting Centers’ Stuart, FL location is pleased to welcome Juan Soto to the team as our new lead mechanic. Juan joined the U.S. Coast Guard and became a machinery technician in 1987. He has served on a variety of ships and boats including an ice breaker. Juan was promoted to Chief Machinery Technician in 2004 and retired from the Coast Guard in 2011. Juan has worked as a test technician for the past 5 years.  Juan is very enthusiastic to be here at RFYC and looks forward to meeting all of our valued customers.  Welcome Aboard!

River Forest Yachting Centers’ Stuart, FL location is pleased to welcome Randy Wilson to the team as our new Assistant Service Manager.  Randy brings over 40 years of marine industry experience beginning as a young man painting boat bottoms and working his way through the ranks. Randy is eager to begin assisting RFYC’s storage and service customers and looks forward to providing the highest level of professional care and attention that River Forest Yachting Centers’ customers have come to know and enjoy.

RFYC is pleased to announce that our LaBelle manager, John Helfrich and Marine Technician, Jose Marines are now certified by the American Boat & Yacht Council (ABYC) in Marine Systems. Congratulations gentlemen!

The ABYC was created in 1954 as a non-profit organization to develop safety standards for the design, construction, equipage, repair and maintenance of boats. The ABYC’s mission statement: “…to be the essential source of technical information for the international marine industry….”
